Víctor Manuel Brea Sánchez

I received my PhD in Physics in 2003. I am currently an associate professor at CiTIUS, at University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). I have been the Programme Chair of the 11th International Workshop on Cellular Neural Networks and Their Applications (CNNA), held in Santiago de Compostela in 2008. I am also co-recepient of the Best Paper Award of the European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design in 2003.

My main research interests lie in the design of efficient hardware implementations for computer vision applications. The most recent research I led is focused on feature-based image processing methods and its mapping onto CMOS-3D technologies.
