Xosé Ramón Fernández Vidal

I received the MS and PhD degrees, both in Physics, from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 1991 and 1996, respectively. I have been member of the Applied Physics Department in the University of Santiago de Compostela since 1992, where I am an associate professor nowadays.

In recent years, my interest has shifted to biologically inspired computer vision, and includes visual saliency, object and scene recognition.
