Valorizing, transferring and disseminating R&D&i results are priorities of the CiTIUS.
Our center welcomes imagination and breakthrough ideas, even when they don't seem to be useful in the near future. Our purpose is truly intended to translate the results obtained into an economic boost that benefits our partners. The CiTIUS considers that excellence in research means also contributing to social development, improving people's quality of life and environmental commitment.
With this aim we have been working for years in R&D&i projects and contracts with public institutions and private companies, sharing a common goal: obtaining scientific and technological advances that become a competitive advantage. Additionally, we have specific results protected by patents or intellectual property registry, which might be transferred through partnership or operating agreements. In some cases, our results have contributed to the creation of new technology-based companies, located in new and highly innovative niche markets.
