The CiTIUS team consists of more than 100 people, coming from different scientific disciplines and with different academic degrees. Thus, Computer and Electronic Engineers, Physicists and Spanish Philologists work together in our center. This diversity is advantageous for the CiTIUS, since it allows the creation of multidisciplinary working groups gathering specialists from different Information Technology areas.
Currently there are 33 USC professors working at CiTIUS, along with more than 60 researchers developing different stages of their scientific careers. The Center research staff is made up of trainees, predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers, associate professors, professors and a support unity dedicated to manage administration, infrastructures and innovation.
Some of these researchers obtained scholarships and grants in human resources competitive calls, at regional, national and international level. At present, we can find at CiTIUS USC PhD student researchers, I2C Program PhD researchers, managers hired through the Technical Support Staff program, FPI and FPU grant researchers. Globally we have four PhD student researchers from different Erasmus Mundus program modalities, as well as from the AECID grant program for foreign citizens.
